“ I been to one of their branch in Bandar Menjalara and I have never been here to try the actual Michelin Star restaurant. So why not I came here to find out. First parking will be a big problem here and if you lucky to found one, consider you are blessed. Then walk to the restaurant and you will know that it must be dam good when there’s a long line. Luckily for me I have 3 pax and easier to find a table. Within 5 mins found one table and within minutes the captain was here to take our order. Overall the captain lady was friendly and within a couple minutes we got our order and took us about 10mins plus to get our food. First the dry bak ku teh was very aromatic and flavorful and the sauce was very very tasty. With the rice I can eat it with the sauce without complaint. Meat was super tender and well marinated with the sauce and I give 9.2 for this dish. Then the Bak ku teh soup has arrived and without a doubt the herbs in the soup were very delicious and cover with depth in terms of the taste. I can figure out why the soup so dam bloody good and the other branch soup wasn’t that great. For the meat, it was tender and well balanced flavors. I must say a score of 9.5. How to put it together. You have some many patrons here and their food can maintain high quality and I will be sure definitely come here again. For sure! ”

We went for the soup version and skipped the veggies and tofu—nothing extra to distract from the pure taste of bak kut teh. The soup itself is clear, peppery, and lightly herbal, with pork ribs, intestine, and stomach that were all super tender. They also have a dry version served in a claypot with lean meat, which leans on the salty side. Definitely get the oily rice—it pairs perfectly with both versions. Overall, it’s a very different take compared to the traditional, robust Klang-style bak kut teh, but still worth trying if you’re after something unique. ”
“ It’s pretty crowded BKT place. The food was served relatively fast. The soup did feel alittle salty and was not enough to satisfy an oomph. The dried version was good though. Fragrance. The oil rice is good. ”
“ Don't be mistaken, there are 2 bak kut teh restaurants along the same road. Make sure you go to the one further down the road. The place was huge and fairly crowded. The flavours of the bak kut teh was good, the dry version has a nice aroma. The 葱油饭 was really good too! ”
“ I am a Bakuteh lover. Our relatives recommended this cafe to us. It is a Michelin Guided cafe for consecutive three years. The Batuteh (soup or dry one) were very good. The pork ribs were very fresh and tendered and the soup was tasty. The herbal taste of the soup would not be too strong (a good balance). The price is reasonable. As it is a tin shed structure, it may be quite hot during noon time. The owner has installed a number of ceiling fans which help. ”
